Marcela Bravo Puldain

Marcela received a degree in Business Engineering from the Universidad de Chile and an Advanced Management Program (AMP) certificate from ESE Business School. During the first years of her career, she worked in trade and marketing for companies in the financial and telecommunications sectors. Subsequently, she took over the management of the Institutional Relations department at Telefónica, being responsible for communications strategy, institutional relations and the Telefónica Foundation. Following this role, she became Corporate Communications Manager for Aguas Andinas and helped develop the company’s marketing, communications, public relations and corporate social responsibility strategies with the objective of bolstering the recently privatized organization’s modernization process. Then she served as Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at Bci, where she led the development and implementation of the bank’s sustainability strategy as aligned with its values and overall mission. During the last six years, she served as Corporate Affairs Manager for the Chilean Safety Association, being responsible for the design and implementation of its communication strategy and the establishment of a Model of Relationship for the organization’s main stakeholders.

Marcela has also served as Director of USEC, an Advisor for the Society and Business Circle ICARE, Director of Acción Empresas (Business Action), a Member of the Board of the United Nations’ Global Compact, an Advisor for Enseña Chile (Teach Chile), and Founder of the FOCCO (Communications Forum) group.

She has completed the Board of Women (BOW) Program and ESE Business School’s Corporate Governance Program. She currently serves as Director of América Solidaria and is a Mentor for Comunidad Mujer (Women Community).
